Macaroni and Cheese

This is easily my favorite recipe.  You can't go wrong with cheese!

Ingredients:
·        8 ounces elbow macaroni
·        2 tablespoons butter
·        2 tablespoons flour
·        1 ¼ cups milk
·        Cheddar cheese, grated
·        Dash of salt
·        Dash of white pepper

Directions:
Cook the macaroni, and drain it in a strainer.  Put the macaroni in a buttered casserole dish.  To make the white sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan.  Add the flour to the saucepan.  Stir the flour with a whisk for 2 to 3 minutes until the flour is cooked.  Add the milk to the saucepan.  Stir the milk constantly with a whisk until the sauce thickens.  Melt some of the cheese in the sauce.  Season the sauce with salt and pepper.  Combine the sauce with the macaroni.  Put the remainder of the cheese on top of the macaroni.  Bake the macaroni and cheese at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
