Ingredients:

8 ounces elbow macaroni

2 tablespoons butter
·
2 tablespoons flour
·
1 ¼ cups milk
·
Cheddar cheese, grated
·
Dash of salt
·
Dash of white pepper
Directions:
Cook the macaroni, and drain it in a
strainer. Put the macaroni in a buttered
casserole dish. To make the white sauce,
melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the
flour to the saucepan. Stir the flour
with a whisk for 2 to 3 minutes until the flour is cooked. Add the milk to the saucepan. Stir the milk constantly with a whisk until
the sauce thickens. Melt some of the
cheese in the sauce. Season the sauce
with salt and pepper. Combine the sauce
with the macaroni. Put the remainder of
the cheese on top of the macaroni. Bake
the macaroni and cheese at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
